Refund Policy
Clear cancellation and refund rules.
This policy explains when a booking payment may be refunded, the information required and how long processing can take.
Policy scope
This Refund Policy applies to booking requests and confirmed taxi journeys arranged through Taxi.com.cy. It should be read together with the Terms of Use.
Before a booking is confirmed
Submitting Online Booking creates a request. No card payment is collected by the booking form. When no payment has been made, cancelling a pending request normally does not create a refund because there is no paid amount to return.
Online payment links
When a secure online payment link is issued, the customer should review the journey details before paying. Any refund is returned through an available method agreed by the booking team. Processing time may also depend on the payment provider or the customer bank.
Customer cancellations
Contact the booking team as soon as possible through the private booking support link or by email. Refund eligibility is assessed using the pickup time, notice given, vehicle or driver commitments already made, third-party costs and whether the journey has started.
Operator cancellation or service failure
If Taxi.com.cy cancels a paid booking and cannot provide a suitable replacement, the paid journey amount is normally eligible for refund. Any separate completed service or non-refundable third-party cost will be explained before a deduction is made.
No-show or incorrect information
A refund may be reduced or unavailable when the passenger does not attend the agreed pickup, cannot be contacted, supplies materially incorrect journey details, or changes the route or service after resources have already been committed.
How to request a refund
Use the account-free support chat in the private booking link, or email limassol@taxi.com.cy. Include the booking reference, customer name, payment date, amount, reason and any relevant evidence. Do not send card numbers or security codes.
Refund status updates
When a refund is approved, the Control Centre records the amount, method, reference and expected processing time. The customer receives a status-coloured email and can see the team note on the private booking page.
Discount coupons
Promotional coupons have no cash value. A coupon can reduce a booking price to EUR 0 but does not create a cash refund or an unused balance. Unless stated otherwise, issued review coupons are single-use and linked to the customer email address.
Acceptance record
Online Booking stores the date and version of the Terms of Use and Refund Policy accepted by the customer. The private booking link includes a page showing that acceptance record.
